Fuerteventura is the most unspoilt of all the Canary islands. With over 3000hrs of sunshine every year and over 150 of the longest, most beautiful beaches in Europe, this is a sun worshippers haven. The 3 main resorts of Jandia, Corralejo and Caleta de Fuste cater for every taste. The Island caters well for water sports enthusiasts with windsurfing, kiteflying and even whale watching excursions available. The volcanic island of Lobos is only 6km away, is easily visited by boat and is well worth a day visit.
   
 
 

Diving

The crystal waters and enormous numbers of different fish, out at sea and even close to the shore, make this an opportunity not to be missed. Form snokelling to a full sub-aqua course, you will go home feeling as if you've been on the Great Barrier Reef.

This island's name itself means "strong winds" and it is these winds which encourage winsurfers world wide to take to the north of the island which hosts the P.W.A world windsurfing championships every August.

This remarkable small island is only 6km square and sits off the North-East of the island. It has a population of only 1, and he man's the lighthouse.
