Lanzarote

This island revels in long sunny days with very little rainfall. With resorts for beach lovers, explorers and water sports enthusiasts, Lanzarote has it all. Though the lava fields and volcano's are what this island is famed for, the gentle but constant breeze also make it ideal and very popular for yachting, windsurfing and kiteflying.. As the map shows, exploring the island is straightforward on the well surfaced and signposted canarian roads and the whole island can be covered with ease in a couple of days.

As well as some of the most fascinating scenery in Europe, Lanzarote also has some of the most beautiful beaches, some 12km of them just in Puerto Del Carmen.Though by far the best to be found are the pretty small coves dotted along the coast line, called Papagayo and easily accessible by car.

Jameos Del Aqua
